TailorCare, Inc. is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to scale our infrastructure for a remote-first team with a Nashville-based office option. You will drive CI/CD, observability, and secure, compliant architectures across AWS.

You will collaborate with product engineering, data teams, and platform engineers to shape the operational standards of a fast-growing healthcare startup. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE/DevOps or platform engineering.
• Deep hands-on AWS expertise (VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana).
• Experience standardizing CI/CD pipelines and tracking DORA metrics.
• Experience in HIPAA/HITRUST/SOC 2 Type II environments is highly desired.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% as needed for onsite meetings.

Responsibilities

• Standardize the AWS footprint with Terraform and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate workflows.
• Build universal CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and improve DORA metrics across teams.
• Implement observability enhancements across AWS and third-party integrations; support SLOs/SLIs and error budgets.
• Bridge SRE and software/data engineering; build self-service tooling for developers.
• Stand up on-call rotation across US time zones and define sustainable hours.
• Lead production incidents with blameless post-incident reviews and durable fixes.
• Maintain infrastructure controls (IAM, encryption, network segmentation) in HIPAA/HITRUST contexts.
• Other duties as assigned.
