Job summary

TailorCare is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help build and scale our infrastructure within a growing Infrastructure & SRE team. You will standardize AWS using Terraform, implement universal CI/CD pipelines, and drive observability and SLO/SLI programs to ensure high availability for web, mobile, telephony, and data processing services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Engineering, SRE, DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Deep AWS expertise (VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3) and Terraform at scale.
• Strong Python/Go/TypeScript coding skills; treat infra as software.
• Hands-on observability with Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana; implement SLOs/SLIs.
• Experience standardizing CI/CD pipelines and tracking DORA metrics.
• HIPAA/HITRUST/SOC 2 II experience highly desired.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for onsite meetings.

Responsibilities

• Standardize AWS footprint with Terraform; automate provisioning and environments.
• Build universal CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and improve delivery metrics.
• Improve observability across AWS and third-party integrations; manage SLOs/SLIs.
• Bridge SRE and software/data engineering; build self-service tooling for developers.
• Support on-call rotation and establish sustainable hours and escalation paths.
• Lead incident response and blameless post-incident reviews; drive root-cause fixes.
• Maintain infrastructure controls (IAM, encryption, network segmentation) compliant with HIPAA/HITRUST.
