Job summary

Datumtg is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer III to streamline our IT infrastructure using code, automation, and software practices. You will support Dev squads and ensure scalable, reliable production environments across our Chicago-based and CST remote teams.

The role emphasizes Azure cloud, CI/CD workflows, and IaC with Terraform, with responsibilities spanning from development to production support and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in IT/technical roles.
• Experience as primary SRE for a squad or team.
• Fluent communication to describe problems and solutions.
• Azure cloud experience with certifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Apply software engineering practices to IT operations for scalable, reliable production environments.
• Bridge development and operations with software engineering mindset.
• Develop code to automate processes and analyze logs.
• Support DEV squads and other SREs across infrastructure needs.
• Document infrastructure work for visibility.
