DTI (Diversified Technology, Inc.) is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer specializing in Automation & GCP to lead the design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise cloud infrastructure in Chicago. You will develop scalable Python automation frameworks, IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt, and AI/ML-driven capabilities within CI/CD pipelines.

The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership and architectural advisory duties.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Python programming for automation, CLI tools, and infra automation.
• Extensive hands-on Terraform/Terragrunt for enterprise-scale IaC.
• Strong Google Cloud Platform architecture, deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Proven experience with Git workflows, code reviews, and collaboration.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Hands-on AI/ML-driven automation, Vertex AI, and ML pipelines.
• Familiarity with YAML, INI, and HCL for config management and parsing.
• Ability to design deterministic, auditable automation with guardrails.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and modernize enterprise cloud infrastructure with a focus on automation.
• Develop scalable Python-based automation frameworks and CLI tools.
• Build and maintain IaC using Terraform and Terragrunt across environments.
• Integrate automation with JIRA, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for traceable operations.
• Design GCP architectures that are reliable, secure, and observable.
• Leverage Vertex AI and ML pipelines to enhance monitoring and incident response.
• Develop self-healing policies and automated remediation workflows.
• Create guardrails, access controls, and validation steps for AI-driven automation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams on cloud reliability.
