Job summary

Entarian is seeking a Senior Site-Reliability Engineer to join the infrastructure team. The role focuses on reliability of Windows-based production environments, bridging development and operations, and delivering highly available services.

You will design scalable infrastructure with IaC, automate provisioning with PowerShell/Python, and manage configuration with Terraform/Puppet/Chef across hybrid environments. On-call duties and collaboration with dev teams are required.

Qualifications

5+ years in Systems Administration, DevOps, or Site-Reliability Engineering roles.
Strong Windows Server (2016+) skills incl. Active Directory, IIS, MS SQL.
Cloud experience, AWS preferred.
Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Ruby).
Experience with configuration management tools: Terraform, Puppet or Chef.
Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, NR).
Understanding of networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, VPN).
Strong problem-solving across multiple tech layers.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using IaC practices.
Develop automation scripts for OS provisioning and config management.
Implement and manage configuration with Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
Monitor health, performance, and availability; enforce SLAs/SLOs.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
Collaborate with development to improve deployment pipelines and release processes.
Document runbooks and architectural decisions.
Conduct post-mortems and implement corrective actions.
