Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Reliability Engineer – SRE & AIOps to advance automation-first infrastructure across hybrid cloud and data centers. You’ll design and operate Kubernetes clusters, build auto‑remediation, and enable global teams to ship reliably at scale.

You will define SRE tooling, SLOs, and runbooks while mentoring engineers, applying AI/ML insights to prevent failures and reduce toil. This role emphasizes blameless learning and proactive reliability improvements.

Qualifications

Experience designing and operating Kubernetes at scale in production environments.
Experience designing closed‑loop auto‑remediation systems to reduce MTTR and toil.
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and multi‑region, multi‑cloud architectures.
Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code and GitOps practices.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and operate enterprise‑scale Kubernetes clusters across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
Architect auto‑remediation systems and predictive alerting to reduce toil and MTTR.
Evolve the SRE tooling stack including monitoring, incident management, and observability.
Establish SLOs, error budgets, and automated runbooks for on‑call engineers.
Develop IaC pipelines and GitOps workflows for reproducible deployments.
Lead cross‑team collaboration and mentor junior engineers in reliability patterns.
Drive cost optimization and disaster recovery strategies for hybrid environments.
Champion blameless postmortems and data‑driven improvements across org.
