Job summary

ServiceNow in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - SRE & AIOps to advance infrastructure automation, resilience, and toil reduction across hybrid cloud operations.

You will deploy and manage production Kubernetes clusters, build auto-remediation, and shape SRE tooling, observability, and runbooks for on-call teams across time zones. The role combines hands-on expertise with leadership growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes production ops, including deployment models and troubleshooting.
• Automated remediation, runbooks, and self-healing mechanisms.
• Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP and core SRE services.
• IaC tools and GitOps practices with Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Observability, incident management, and log aggregation familiarity.
• Understanding of distributed systems and resilience patterns.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot production Kubernetes clusters across hybrid/multi-clouds.
• Build and maintain auto-remediation systems to reduce MTTR and on-call burden.
• Contribute to SRE tooling, monitoring, incident management, and observability.
• Develop SLOs, alerting policies, and automated runbooks for on-call engineers.
• Create Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps pipelines with security guardrails.
• Support on-call rotations and post-incident reviews for continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior SRE engineers in reliability and automation best practices.
