Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior SQL Server & .NET API Developer to enhance, maintain and deploy a mission-critical federal application hosted in Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on SQL Server-based development, secure data access, and API integrations within Azure-hosted environments.

You will work with architects, analysts and government stakeholders to deliver new functionality and support modernization efforts while ensuring robust security and performance across the platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database-centric architectures.
• Strong skills in designing and implementing .NET Web APIs in C#.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize SQL Server database solutions for mission-critical processes.
• Create/modify stored procedures, views, functions, triggers and other DB objects.
• Implement database security controls including Row-Level Security and secure data access patterns.
• Analyze performance, tuning and indexing strategies for SQL Server workloads.
• Develop and maintain secure .NET Web APIs for data access and services.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on modernization efforts and roadmaps.
