Job summary

GuideStone is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and maintain web-based solutions using the Microsoft stack. The role requires technical leadership, mentoring, and ownership of major areas while aligning with GuideStone architecture and DevOps practices.

The candidate will influence solutions, drive standards, and deliver high-impact work within an Agile scrum team, focusing on cloud-native, microservices-based architectures and robust tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management of Information Systems

Responsibilities

• Develops C# code in Visual Studio using feature branches and feature toggles.
• Writes automated tests for all code changes (excluding UI code).
• Manages code changes using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Mentors other developers and participates in code reviews.
• Leads backlog prioritization and sprint goals within the scrum team.
• Uses Azure DevOps Pipelines to monitor build and release status.
