Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to oversee all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server, including replication, backups, and SSIS/SSAS/SSRS. Based in Los Angeles, this full-time role requires 5+ years of SQL Server DBA experience, with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud familiarity encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SQL Server DBA experience.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Knowledge of source control, bug tracking, SDLC, and relational databases.
• Able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server with replication, backups, and SSRS/SSAS/SSIS.
• Migrate databases from SQL Server 2012 to 2016.
• Provide system administration support for hardware and software.
• Optimize SQL performance and tuning.
• Implement Microsoft technologies and manage virtualization environments.
