The candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong T-SQL/SSMS, and Azure services with a focus on backups, security, and automation using PowerShell. Collaboration with developers and Tier III support are expected.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SSMS, and T-SQL.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Backup/recovery and HA/DR expertise including Always On.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade SQL Server databases.
• Monitor and tune performance, queries, indices, blocking, and deadlocks.
• Manage backups, recovery, HA, and DR strategies.
• Support Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure VMs.
• Perform migrations between on-premises SQL Server and Azure.
• Manage security, permissions, encryption, and Azure RBAC/Key Vault.
• Assist developers with design, T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Automate DBA tasks using T-SQL and PowerShell.
• Provide Tier III troubleshooting and technical support.
