Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior Discovery Database Administrator to join our Legal team in a fast-paced government-focused environment. You will be responsible for administering Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022, designing data models, and maintaining high availability through backups, clustering, and disaster recovery.

In this role you will lead SSRS reporting, migrate systems to cloud infrastructure, and implement scalable data architectures across data lakes, warehouses, and marts to support

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
• Design and implement security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, and reports.
• Experience in clustered server environments and data models.
• Migration to cloud infrastructure.
• SSRS report development and reporting server setup.

Responsibilities

• Provide database administration support including security, performance optimization, and maintenance jobs.
• Assist in migrating systems to cloud infrastructure and maintaining data availability.
