Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Discovery Database Administrator (DBA) to support legal accounts and maintain SQL Server 2019/2022 databases with security, backups, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities include data migration to cloud, SSRS report development, and maintaining data models within a clustered environment, under an executive-level full-time role in the Legal department.

Qualifications

• Administer MS SQL Server 2019/2022; set up security, create tables, indexes, stored procedures.
• Design SQL reports and maintenance jobs; optimize databases and ensure performance.
• Knowledge of data lakes/warehouses; support data modeling and cloud migration.

Responsibilities

• Provide database administration support for MS SQL Server 2019/2022.
• Mirror servers, log shipping, backups, and high availability strategies.
• Migrate systems to cloud infrastructure and upgrade SQL Server versions.
• Create reports using SSRS and manage reporting server; handle DBA duties.
