Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Discovery Database Administrator to join a fast-paced team within the Legal department. You will manage SQL Server 2019/2022, build and optimize databases, ensure security, and drive data architecture across data lakes and warehouses.

The role includes cloud migration and SSRS reporting responsibilities in a full-time capacity. Ideal candidates will have deep DBA expertise, experience with clustered environments, and a track record of maintaining high availability and

Qualifications

• Provides DBA support for Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022.
• Designs and maintains databases in clustered server environments.
• Applies data lake/warehouse/data mart architectures and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Provide DBA support for SQL Server 2019/2022 including security, tables, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Create and maintain databases in a clustered server environment with data models.
• Work with data lakes, data warehouse, and data mart architectures and metadata modeling.
• Mirror servers, implement log shipping, high availability, and backups/recovery.
• Migrate systems to cloud infrastructure.
• Upgrade SQL Server versions (2019+) and develop SSRS reports.
• Set up a reporting server and perform DBA functions and report development.
