Job summary

Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, seeks a Senior Splunk Engineer to own and evolve Splunk environments across on-premises and Splunk Cloud in a remote US role. You will manage platform health, data ingestion, dashboards, and integrations across a broad enterprise landscape.

The ideal candidate brings senior Splunk experience in enterprise settings, strong SPL, and a track record of automating observability.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience administering, engineering, or architecting Splunk in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, or both.
• Strong SPL skills, including creating, troubleshooting, tuning, and optimizing searches, dashboards, and alerts.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and improve Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud environments.
• Design and support scalable log ingestion patterns across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and security systems.
• Monitor and improve platform health, index utilization, storage efficiency, data quality, and reliability.
