Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Splunk Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize large‑scale Splunk environments across remote and client sites.

You will work with the Professional Services team to deliver observability and SIEM solutions for enterprise environments, including data onboarding, dashboards, and alerting. The role requires hands‑on expertise with Splunk Enterprise and Cloud, strong scripting skills, and the ability to collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and security

Qualifications

• Hands-on Splunk Enterprise or Cloud experience.
• Experience with data onboarding, indexing, and SPL.
• Ability to design, deploy, and operate production Splunk environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or professional services.
• Strong Linux, networking, and cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to support domestic or international on-site engagements.
• U.S. Passport required and eligible for U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Splunk Enterprise and Cloud environments across indexers, search heads, forwarders, and management components.
• Lead customer-facing implementations for observability, security monitoring, compliance, and operational intelligence.
• Develop data onboarding, ingestion pipelines, dashboards, alerts, and correlation searches.
• Design Splunk use cases aligned to customer requirements and mission outcomes.
• Write scripts and integrations (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to improve data ingestion and platform ops.
• Operate Splunk across on-prem, cloud, GovCloud, and hybrid environments.
