Job summary

ACLD is seeking a Lead Speech Pathologist in Bay Shore, NY to provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the Speech Department. You will guide, coach, and support staff, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based therapy and goal implementation aligned with IEPs.

The role requires extensive clinical supervision experience, NYS licensure, CCC-SLP, and a Master’s degree in SLP. You will oversee evaluation, documentation, and service delivery across settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensure and CCC-SLP certification in NYS required.
• Experience supervising staff in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to SLPs to ensure consistent standards of practice.
• Collaborate with educational leadership, teachers, and families to support student communication.
• Lead multidisciplinary team discussions and department initiatives.
• Evaluate effectiveness and quality of speech-language services.
