Job summary

Aristacare seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to plan, organize, and deliver SLP services for residents in accordance with standards and regulations. The role involves evaluating residents, developing treatment plans, and communicating findings to families and interdisciplinary teams.

You will screen residents for intervention needs, document in NetHealth EMR, ensure compliance with CMS expectations, and maintain ongoing licensure through continuing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Must have an active SLP license in New Jersey.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Language Pathologist services to residents per standards and productivity requirements.
• Adhere to documentation and billing procedures for SLP services.
• Develop and implement resident therapy plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Screen residents regularly to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Evaluate residents to obtain data for treatment planning.
• Develop treatment plans and communicate findings to residents and families/teams.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
