Job summary

Apple Rehab, a leading provider of short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality care in a resident-focused setting.

The role reports to the Rehabilitation Director and involves developing and implementing therapy programs, managing caseloads, and guiding residents and caregivers through discharge planning. Licensure eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• CCC or CFY eligibility and licensure eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop resident care programs with speech therapy procedures.
• Manage caseload and schedule treatment sessions in groups or individually.
• Instruct residents, families and caregivers regarding speech therapy goals and discharge planning.
• Ensure PPS guidelines and accurate documentation and billing for services.
• Provide supervision and education to technicians and affiliating students.
