Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• California SLP license or active license candidate.
• 2–3 years experience in a skilled nursing facility rehab environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment programs to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities within patient limits.
• Evaluate and treat patients; document services in medical records.
• Supervise staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate patient progress and plans with families, physicians, and team.
• Maintain compliant documentation including progress notes and discharge summaries.
