Job summary
Baptist Health Rehab Services seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver diagnostic evaluations and treatment for cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders across ages. The role emphasizes counseling patients and caregivers and interdisciplinary collaboration in a full-time daytime schedule.
Requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Kentucky license, and CCC-SLP within specified timelines; BLS within 30 days is also required.
Qualifications
- Master's degree required in Speech-Language Pathology.
- CCC-SLP certification must be obtained within 9 months (full-time) or 18 months (part-time).
- Current and valid Kentucky license to practice SLP.
- Maintain ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP).
- BLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and treat cognitive-communication and/or swallowing disorders.
- Provide counseling and education to patients, caregivers, and staff.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adults and for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults with feeding/swallowing disorders.
