Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for PRN day shifts in hospital settings, working with patients of all ages to assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

The role includes evaluating and implementing treatment programs, contributing to protocol improvements, and ensuring documentation aligns with state regulations and hospital policies. Licensing in Kentucky and ASHACCC/CFY eligibility are required, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication Disorders for Speech Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Year eligible.
• BLS Certification Required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and/or implement a treatment program for referred patients.
• Contribute to development and upgrading of treatment programs and protocols.
• Support departmental goals, objectives and performance improvement indicators.
• Complete documentation according to state/federal regulations and hospital policies.
• Participate in the departmental operating plan.
