Job summary

BHS Baptist Health Rehab Services in Kentucky is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (full-time, days) to identify, assess, and treat patients with cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders. The SLP provides counseling and education to patients, caregivers, and staff.

This role involves conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for neonates to adults and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize swallowing and communication outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology completed or in progress.
• CCC-SLP must be obtained within 9 months for full-time employees and 18 months for part-time employees.
• Current and valid Kentucky SLP license.
• Maintain ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and treat patients with cognitive-communication and/or swallowing disorders.
• Provide counseling/education to patients, caregivers, and staff.
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adults with cognitive-communication disorders.
• Evaluate feeding/swallowing disorders across neonates to adults.
