Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
• SLP - State Licensure - Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation PSV Compact license acceptable according to the Board requirements within 90 days and
• ASHA-CCC-SLP - AHSA-Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and
• BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA) - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Contributes to teamwork and collaborative care.
• Uses therapeutic communication to establish a relationship with patients and families.
• Teaches and provides guidance to nursing and support staff; mentors students and clinical fellows.
