Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and rehabilitate patients with communication and swallowing disorders, across age groups. The role includes documenting progress and assisting Level II/III clinicians with program development. May provide training to students and staff.

The position requires clinical judgement, collaboration with families, and a commitment to safety and quality care within Memorial Hermann policies and budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Texas license to practice Speech/Language Pathology.
• ASHA certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS).

Responsabilités

• Assesses and treats patients with communication and swallowing disorders; documents progress.
• Develops and implements speech-language pathology plans of care.
• May supervise students, interns, and staff; serves as preceptor as needed.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and clinical teams.
• Ensures safe patient care and adherence to MH policies and standards.
