Job summary

Mastery Schools is seeking a Lead Case Manager for Special Education to oversee IEP/504 development and ensure regulatory compliance across all settings. You will mentor staff, guide students in self-regulation, organization, and academic success strategies, and collaborate with teachers to implement necessary accommodations.

The role requires direct K-12 Special Education classroom experience and a commitment to educational equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education required; Master's degree preferred.
• Certification as Special Education Teacher, Supervisor of Special Education, or Principal's Certification required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with special education students and collaborating with families and providers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws governing special education and 504 plans.
• Develop and oversee IEPs and Section 504 Service Agreements to drive progress.
• Monitor student grades and progress data to ensure achievement for students with special services.
• Lead the I&RS team, ensuring effective student support interventions.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to students on self-regulation and academic success strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to implement accommodations in general education.
• Serve as liaison to the School Culture Team for behavior interventions.
• Manage relationships with related service providers.
