Job summary

Vantor in the Los Angeles area seeks a Spectrum Management Consultant to support SSC programs, obtain spectrum certification, and manage frequency authorizations for space systems.

You will work with the U.S. Space Force and DoD/NTIA/ITU standards, developing RF network designs and coordinating with AFSMO and NTIA. Requires U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance, with TS/SCI eligibility and a related engineering degree.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with a Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or aerospace engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in space electrical or space communication systems.
• Knowledge of spectrum supportability requirements for space systems.

Responsibilities

• Advocate SSC programs to obtain spectrum certification and ITU registrations per DoD/DAF policies.
• Serve as technical authority on spectrum management, RF spectrum protection for space systems.
• Manage spectrum supportability submissions and develop RF network designs/maps for AFSMO/NTIA.
• Coordinate National Spectrum Strategy initiatives and spectrum relocation funds.
