Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Spectrum Management Specialist to lead RF lifecycle management, from system certification to frequency authorization and interference resolution, within the MDA SMO.

The role requires a BS degree, 7+ years of relevant experience, Secret clearance eligibility, and strong teamwork and documentation skills. Proficiency in Spectrum XXI, EL-CID, MATLAB, and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of RF theory and electromagnetic principles.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team environments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to the MDA SMO (CED).
• Manage and maintain the Frequency Authorization tracker for all MDA missions.
• Develop, author, and submit System Certifications (DD1494) using STEPSTONE and EL-CID.
• Develop, coordinate, and submit frequency authorization requests using Spectrum XXI (SXXI).
• Develop, update, and maintain critical reports and databases for operations and engineering.
• Troubleshoot EMI issues between developmental and deployed systems.
• Document SOPs, workflows, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing.
• Develop Host Nation Coordination (HNC) packets and Site Surveys for global deployments.
