Job summary

City National Bank seeks a Senior Specialty Wealth Asset Officer to provide investment and asset management for Specialty Wealth assets held in fiduciary accounts within CNB and RBC platforms. You will oversee property operations, third-party providers, and asset projects while ensuring regulatory compliance and fiduciary accountability.

Qualifications

• 7 years of property/asset management (residential/commercial) experience, fiduciary experience a plus.
• 7 years of experience in analyzing investments, including operating statements, market data, offering memorandums/reports.

Responsibilities

• Provides asset/investment management for assigned portfolio within fiduciary accounts and investment guidelines.
• Manages portfolio by mitigating risk and following company and department policies and procedures.
• Completes all regulatory and internal requirements for assets in portfolio (annual reviews, inspections, valuations, document retention, audit inquiries).
• Oversees asset-level operations, including asset performance, income collection, expense payment, and maintenance activities—via 3rd party or direct management.
• Recommends and implements strategies for asset objectives considering investment objective, account size, liquidity, and circumstances.
• Facilitates asset-level transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, exchanges, leases, and capital expenditures.
• Collaborates with relationship teams, clients, managers/GPs/officers, and 3rd party service providers to coordinate activities at the asset level.
• Coordinates with Trust Officers and other relationship managers for specialty wealth asset activities.
• Participates in meetings to promote product/service awareness to clients, prospects, and referral sources.
• Maintains satisfactory internal and external audit reviews; ensures ADA compliance and environmental issue resolution.
