Job summary

Amgen Inc. seeks a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to provide clinical product knowledge to medical professionals and navigate payer environments.

The role focuses on driving territory sales through branded messages and educational programs, with emphasis on account management and contract considerations. Qualified candidates bring a Bachelor’s or appropriate credential and sales/clinical experience in healthcare, preferably in oncology, inflammation, or related areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school with 6 years sales experience.
• Senior role requires Bachelor's with 3+ years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of clinical products and payer environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide current, comprehensive product knowledge to medical professionals.
• Lead sales programs and achieve territory targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop account relationships, ensuring product access and handling reimbursement issues.
• Offer feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
