Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to serve healthcare professionals in defined territories. You will provide clinical product knowledge, support payer navigation, and promote Amgen products as directed by the District Manager.

Expect to deliver branded messages, run educational programs, and build relationships with accounts to ensure access and optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience in sales or healthcare.
• Associate degree with 4+ years of sales experience or healthcare/scientific experience not in sales.
• High school diploma/GED with 6+ years of sales experience or healthcare/scientific experience not in sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and participate in educational programs to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Develop relationships to manage accounts, tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Maintain passion for products and uphold the Amgen brand throughout the sales cycle.
