Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products and guiding payer navigation. You will promote products as directed by the District Manager, building strong customer relationships and driving sales in assigned territory.

The role covers Ann Arbor, Belleville, Ypsilanti, Allen Park, MI with flexible work models including remote/hybrid where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of Sales experience
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech sales is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide current knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
• Lead in-person and virtual programs to achieve territory sales targets
• Develop relationships to manage accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Offer feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow professionally
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values
