Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialist Representative to connect with medical professionals, provide clinical product knowledge, and promote Amgen therapies within the Independence, Lee's Summit, St. Joseph, MO area.

The role involves delivering branded messages, supporting payer navigation, and achieving sales targets through both in-person and virtual engagements, under the guidance of the District Manager. A relevant degree and sales/clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination with sales/clinical experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
• Promote Amgen products and implement marketing strategy under the District Manager.
• Achieve or exceed territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop territory plans and manage customer accounts with a focus on product access and reimbursement.
