Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relationship development experience in commercial/business banking.
• Minimum of 2 years of SBA and Commercial Real Estate lending experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Marketing or related business field or equivalent work experience.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of SBA products along with industry standards and rules/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert to identify steps/strategies to develop SBA and CRE portfolio; develop referral sources and joint calling with BRMs; achieve targets while following risk protocols.
• Identify client needs and develop client solutions; partner with other product groups when needed.
• Structure and price loans in line with policies and regulations.
• Determine preliminary SBA eligibility of clients.
• Serve as primary contact during post-application, eligibility and post-approval phases; gather documentation.
• Manage loans through pipeline, closing and booking stages.
• Educate BRMs and Chase partners on SBA and CRE loan opportunities; provide product information and coaching.
• Develop and maintain relationships with SBA District Offices and Certified Development Companies.
