JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Senior Specialty Finance Advisor in Business Banking to support SBA and CRE lending for clients with $0.5M to $20M in revenue. You will consult BRMs, assess financing needs, structure loans, and guide clients through post-approval stages.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relationship development experience in commercial/business banking.
• Minimum of 2 years of SBA and Commercial Real Estate lending experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Marketing or related business field or equivalent work experience.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of SBA products along with industry standards and rules/regulations.
• Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally.
• Proven negotiating and business credit skills.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners and influence others without direct control.

Responsibilities

• Act in a business development capacity as the subject matter expert to identify steps/strategies necessary to develop the SBA and CRE portfolio and achieve targets.
• Identify client needs, develop client solutions, and partner with other product groups when needed.
• Structure and price loans for clients adhering to policies and regulations.
• Determine if client meets preliminary SBA eligibility requirements.
• Serve as primary contact during post-application submission, eligibility and post-approval phases and gather documentation.
• Monitor loans through the pipeline, closing and booking stage.
• Manage client expectations and overcome objections.
• Provide high level service to clients throughout the loan cycle and educate BRMs on SBA/CRE opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with SBA District Offices and Certified Development Companies.
• Maintain knowledge of Chase Credit Policy and SBA SOPs.
