Job summary

Corning Incorporated in the United States is seeking a Communications Senior Specialist, Projects and Function Operations to establish the operating rhythm of Corporate Communications, drive cross-team collaboration, and advance strategic initiatives. You will lead and manage key projects, engage employees, and ensure aligned execution across the department and with business marketing communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year leading projects with increasing complexity.
• Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Extremely strong written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work collaboratively across businesses, departments, and functions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and planning tools.
• Digital fluency and comfort with digital systems.
• Experience working with agencies and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead people and culture initiatives across the Corporate Communications function, including team meetings and employee engagement activities.
• Facilitate meetings and cross-function discussions to help teams make decisions and move work forward.
• Develop and deliver internal communications that align employees around priorities and transparency.
• Lead projects from initiation through completion with defined goals, plans, stakeholders, and documentation.
• Improve project management practices by building tools, templates, and resources.
• Build strong relationships across Corporate Communications and business marketing to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Manage shared inboxes and distribution lists, ensuring inquiries are handled effectively.
