Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Special Assets Portfolio Manager II to oversee a portfolio of complex, stressed banking relationships, reviewing financial statements, proactive monitoring, and collaboration with Credit Analysts and SAG Relationship Managers.

You will prepare approval memos for renewals, changes in terms, and forbearance agreements, while monitoring loan payments, defaults, and collateral status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of credit experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of more complex, larger stressed banking relationships.
• Prepare approval memos and credit decisions.
• Value collateral and assess collateral position.
• Mentor Credit Analysts and junior Portfolio Managers.
• Assist in due diligence and loan documentation reviews.
• Attend client meetings and ALSR/ Portfolio Review meetings.
