Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Test Technician - A Shift, based onsite at our Long Beach, CA headquarters. You will work on electrical and electromechanical assemblies of the Electron Launch Vehicle avionics, Rutherford Rocket Engine, and Photon Satellite Components, performing functional, bench, vibration, and environmental testing.

The role requires 8+ years in aerospace electronic assembly, familiarity with vibration tables and environmental chambers, and HS Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electronic component assembly, preferably for aerospace applications.
• Experience with electrical assembly tools, bench testing, and measuring instruments.
• Experience with vibration tables, thermal environment chambers, and vacuum chambers.
• HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Daily responsibilities will include functional testing, bench testing, vibration testing, and environmental testing.
• Strong technical proficiency with testing equipment is essential to ensure all components are thoroughly tested and meet the required standards for spaceflight.
• Verify that all components comply with performance and quality specifications.
