Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Avionics Manufacturing Technician II on the A Shift to build and test components and electrical assemblies of the Rutherford rocket engine. You will solder, harness, assemble PCBs, and run functional tests in a high-precision environment onsite.

This role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work the 5:00am–3:30pm schedule on Monday–Thursday, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with electrical assemblies and components.
• High School diploma or GED.
• PCB assembly experience.
• Soldering and/or harnessing of small electrical assemblies.
• Use of common tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, spanners, soldering irons.
