Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation in Long Beach, CA, seeks a Senior Test Technician for A Shift to work onsite. You will assemble and test avionics, Rutherford engine components, and satellite parts, performing functional, bench, vibration, and environmental tests to ensure spaceflight readiness.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in aerospace electronics assembly, familiarity with electrical tools, testing equipment, and LabVIEW or similar systems; strong manual skills and ability to work overtime if needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electronic component assembly.
• Experience with electrical assembly tools, bench testing, and measuring instruments.
• Experience with vibration tables, thermal environment chambers, and vacuum chambers.
• HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Functional testing, bench testing, vibration testing, and environmental testing.
• Ensure components thoroughly tested and meet spaceflight standards.
• Verify that all components comply with performance and quality specifications.
