Job summary

Rocket Lab, based at its global headquarters in Long Beach, California, seeks a Senior Test Technician for the A shift to work on electrical and electromechanical assemblies of the Electron Launch Vehicle avionics, Rutherford Rocket Engine, and Photon Satellite Components.

You will perform functional, bench, vibration, and environmental testing, using a range of testing equipment to ensure components meet spaceflight standards and specifications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electronic component assembly, preferably for aerospace applications.
• Experience with electrical assembly tools, bench testing, and measuring instruments.
• Experience with vibration tables, thermal environment chambers, and vacuum chambers
• HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Daily responsibilities will include functional testing, bench testing, vibration testing, and environmental testing.
• Strong technical proficiency with testing equipment is essential to ensure all components are thoroughly tested and meet the required standards for spaceflight.
• Verify that all components comply with performance and quality specifications.
