Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Thermal Engineers and Analysts to define and advance spacecraft thermal control systems. You will work on system- and component-level analyses for ground, launch, and orbital environments using Thermal Desktop and related tools.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and attention to detail in a fast-paced aerospace setting, with opportunities to contribute to safe human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 8 years of Thermal Engineering/Analysis experience with Thermal Desktop.
• Solid understanding of thermal fundamentals and analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Thermal Desktop and Sinda/Fluint, including model validation and test correlation.

Responsibilities

• Developing system-level thermal analysis models of spacecraft at varying levels of maturity and detail with minimal supervision
• Anchoring thermal predictions to test data
• Communicating and collaborating with multiple teams as customer and provider of data
• Documenting work for future reference and refinement
• Advocating for methods to improve component and analysis performance and reliability
