Qualifications

• BS degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 6+ years of professional experience performing structural analysis on spacecraft/launch vehicle structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate-scale structural analysis with cross-functional coordination.
• Develop and maintain FEMs at component, subassembly, and satellite level.
• Document analysis results for modal, stress, and vibration analyses.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations of design, analysis, and test results.
• Iterate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize designs.
• Create and execute structural test plans for vibration, shock, and static loads.
• Develop and maintain structural analysis software tools.
• Explore new technologies and approaches to maintain leadership in space system engineering.
• Address varied launch load conditions for different launch environments.
