Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in spacecraft or launch vehicle structural analysis.
• Experience setting up and analyzing satellite components and launch adapters.
• Proficiency with static, modal, and vibration analyses to predict stresses and deflections.
• Proficiency with NASTRAN, Femap, and Patran.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate-scale structural analysis with cross-functional coordination.
• Develop and maintain FEMs for components, subsystems, and satellites.
• Document results in technical reports and presentations.
• Iterate designs within a multi-disciplinary team to optimize structures.
• Create and execute structural test plans for vibration, shock, and loads.
