Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Sr Harness Technician to translate designs into high‑quality wiring harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems. The role is onsite and involves inspecting, assembling, and terminating harnesses with attention to detail to ensure mission success.

Ideal candidates have aerospace technician experience, read schematics, and can mentor new hires while coordinating with team leaders on production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent high‑reliability field.
• Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components.
• Ability to read schematics, harness wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings, circuit layouts, and parts lists.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Demonstrated in‑process verification (2PV).
• 4+ years knowledge of wire harness tools including manual and pneumatic crimpers.
• IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems
• Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality For Racks, Boxes
• Explain assembly procedures or techniques to co‑workers
• Work and take direction from team leader for project completion
• Confer with supervisors regarding any anticipated production problems
• Cross‑train/mentor new hires
• Other duties as assigned.
