Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Defense, Space and Security unit, seeks an aerospace technician for wiring harness assembly per NASA standards. The role is primarily onsite with second shift, requiring at least 6 months of aerospace tech experience and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

You will use harness tools, test equipment, and perform verifications to ensure conformance to drawings and specs, while documenting non-conformances and handling rework as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent industry or trade school training.
• Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship; interim/final clearance after start.

Responsibilities

• Wire harnesses assembly per NASA.STD.8739.4A.
• Use harness-related tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, hot tweezers.
• Test wire harnesses with high-pot testers, multimeters, force gauges.
• Assemble electrical ground support equipment and set up test equipment.
• Assist in performing verifications and visually inspect harness assemblies to drawings and specs.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications; document non-conformances and rework.
• Meet necessary certifications as required; perform incidental related duties.
