Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Electrical Component Engineer to lead EEEE parts engineering, qualification, and supplier coordination for space programs. You will evaluate technologies, draft documentation, and mentor teams across design, test, and manufacturing in a high‑reliability environment.

The role requires a BS in engineering, knowledge of electrical parts, and willingness to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related technical field is required.
• Knowledge of electrical parts design, analysis and materials used in EEEE parts.
• Experience reviewing drawings and specifications for design guidance.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hardware design, manufacture and test of EEEE parts.
• Support selection, qualification, test and failure analysis of EEEE parts.
• Prepare reports, specs, and evaluate suppliers/test reports.
• Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Procurement teams.
• Work with components such as ICs, diodes, hybrids, magnetics and transistors.
• Travel and inspect suppliers and government labs to ensure quality.
