Lockheed Martin Missilesand Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Component Engineer to act as the technical authority for EEEE parts, driving their qualification, documentation, and supplier oversight while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, flight‑qualified hardware.

You will select, evaluate, qualify, test, and analyze components, monitor obsolescence, and support part data submissions and NSPARs, enabling robust circuit card designs and lifecycle traceability.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Component Engineering or related areas such as circuit card manufacturing, SMT, thermal profiling, troubleshooting, or cable assembly.
• Proficiency with obsolescence tools (Silicon Expert, IHS BOM Intelligence).
• Proficiency with PLM software such as Windchill.

Responsabilidades

• Selecting, evaluating, qualifying, testing, and performing failure analysis on electrical, electronic, electro‑mechanical, and electro‑optical components.
• Monitor obsolescence risk (DMSMS) and identify alternate part options.
• Support component data submission and symbol generation for new parts.
• Prepare and maintain Component Source Control Drawings (SCDs).
• Evaluate vendors and review component test reports to identify qualified sources.
• Generate, review, and approve NSPARs during PMPCB meetings.
• Review engineering drawings and SCDs for subcontractor components.
• Lead or support PMP issue resolution and drive corrective actions.
• Assist and lead failure‑analysis efforts within the EEEE domain.
• Maintain configuration control and traceability of component data throughout the product lifecycle.
