Firefly Aerospace is seeking a Spacecraft Avionics Systems Lead to own the avionics architecture and related interfaces for lunar landers and orbital vehicles. You will direct trade studies, requirements flow-down, and interface control, while mentoring hardware, firmware, and software engineers across disciplines.

You will collaborate with GNC, structures, thermal, propulsion, and ground systems to ensure reliable, integrated spacecraft avionics.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 8+ years in spacecraft avionics systems engineering or architecture.
• Experience defining avionics architectures and interfaces for spacecraft or satellites.

Mansioni

• Define and own spacecraft avionics architecture and interfaces.
• Lead trade studies, requirements flow-down, and interface control documents.
• Provide mentorship across hardware, firmware, software, and harnessing teams.
• Contribute to requirements definition, verification planning, and anomaly resolution.
