Firefly Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Spacecraft Avionics to lead the avionics engineering organization across multiple programs, including the Blue Ghost lunar lander and SUV programs.

You will set technical direction, guide high‑level design decisions, and own the end‑to‑end integration, test, and launch timelines. The role requires a strong background in aerospace avionics, 8+ years in the field, and 4+ years of leadership, with excellent communication and cross‑functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of experience in aerospace component development, avionics, testing, integration, or operations.
• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams with cross-functional scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the spacecraft avionics engineering organization across multiple programs.
• Set technical strategy and ensure consistent avionics architectures across spacecraft.
• Guide system design, trades, and development of avionics for current and future spacecraft.
• Own the integration, test, and launch timeline for spacecraft avionics and coordinate priorities.
